Training + Certification Schedule

TRIA works closely with the NRCA to create valuable learning opportunities for roofing professionals. Together, we have developed The Tile Roofing Professional Training Journey: a series of courses to take roofers on a pathway from introductory, to intermediate, to expert stages in their roofing knowledge, skills and competencies. The journey is outlined as follows:

INTRODUCTORY LEVEL:

TRAC for Concrete and Clay Tile Roofing Installation Package

The NRCA’s Training for Roof Application Careers (TRAC) is a blend of introductory-level online and hands-on training guidelines your company can use to turn your new and inexperienced employees into quality roof system installers. A one-time purchase gives you unlimited use of the training materials so you can train your English- and Spanish-speaking employees whenever it is best for you!

(Note: the material included in this program facilitates company-sponsored training and does not include an installation competency exam)

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL:

TRIA Manual Certification Courses for Standard and High Wind

The TRIA’s Concrete and Clay Tile Manual Certification course is a four-hour instructor led class that teaches participants about the TRIA installation manual. The course is open to anyone involved in the sale, installation, construction, design, inspection, or specification of concrete or clay tile roof systems. Online re-certifications are available.

The TRIA’s Florida High Wind Manual Certification course is a four-hour instructor led class that teaches participants about the Florida High Wind TRIA installation manual. The course addresses wind tables and other installation concerns that are unique to Florida, and other high-wind markets that subscribe to the manual. This course is open to anyone involved in the sale, installation, construction, design, inspection, or specification of concrete or clay tile roof systems. Online re-certifications are available.
