TRI Alliance Installation Manual Certification

Concrete & Clay Roof Tile Installation

TRI Alliance’s Installation Manual Certification program is a one-day course on the installation of tile roofs in compliance with current code requirements. The course is based on the code-approved Concrete and Clay Roof Tile Installation Manual.

TRI Alliance certification is targeted towards both entry-level and experienced roofers who specialize in other roofing materials, such as asphalt shingles, and would like to expand their skills into tile. This course can also be used as a refresher for consultants, inspectors and others who want to stay up-to-date on codes and proper procedures.

Participants earn certification after passing a 50-question, open-book test and receive their TRI Alliance Certification Card, which is valid for two years. They will also be listed by company in Find a Contractor.  If a certified individual changes companies, there will be a $75 administrative fee to change their listing. Or, the certified person can renew early and re-set their certification date and company information. Companies can show the TRI Alliance certification logo on their marketing materials stating that they have a TRI Alliance certified employee on staff.
