Tile Roofing Industry News & Updates

Don SummersPress Release:  The Tile Roofing Institute Hall of Fame Recipient Don T. Summers passed away on November 11, 2014.
We are deeply saddened today by the loss of a great leader and visionary for the roofing industry, says Rick Olson, TRI President. Rick went on to say “Don was our beloved friend, colleague and TRI member for over 20 years, being awarded our highest award as a Hall of Fame Recipient in 2011.”

Don has been working with the Tile Roofing Institute since 1993 as a valued member of the technical committee. His support and knowledge of TRI’s installation manual and development was greatly instrumental to providing contractors with a code-approved publication to increase the quality and use of tile roofing systems throughout the U.S. Dons “Do it right the first time philosophy” helped move the roofing industry to a higher standard.
