Classroom Trainings Return in June
We are adding in person trainings to the schedule starting with the Arizona Roofing Contractors Association in June. Our January “restart” was hobbled by the Omicron Variant.
The online Manual Certification classes will continue each month. If a certification is needed for a manufacturer warranty or industry requirement you will never be more than 30 days away from an opportunity to earn the necessary credential. The online SHORT presentations from industry experts will continue also.
On the Ground in Phoenix
We are finishing 6 days of training in Phoenix. Five Guys Roofing and Lifetime Roofing wanted their “on the roof” personnel to experience the in person class training together. Both companies had a significant number registered for the cancelled January dates. In addition, we delivered a new 16 hour onboarding, hands-on training for Diversified Roofing. We will be sharing more about that experience soon. We will continue to monitor COVID numbers, but these events suggest it is time, and we are ready to get back to work, together.
Improvements to the Classroom Training
There will be two major differences in classroom training that reduce the time commitment and provide flexibility. We will provide the same “pre-work” that is used with the on-line training. This helps less experienced people come into the classroom with some confidence, and allows trainers to feel confident the attendee has a foundational understanding of the materials used.
Another change consistent with the on-line training is the test. The test is now on-line and will be taken on your own time within 24 hours of the end of the class. These changes keep the classroom time commitment to 4 hours.
